From the killing of Trayvon Martin in 2012 by George Zimmerman, to the creation of #BlackLivesMatter, our nation has endured an immense amount of tragic relating to police brutality.

Throughout this agonizing timeline from 2012 until now, we have been tortured will deaths of African Americans by our police officers. We have sculpted a view in our society towards our officers as a threat instead of our protection. Black parents must have certain "talks" with their children about how to act towards police officers, which includes not going towards cops, even if you are lost. While on the other hand, white parents don't even think of having such a talk with their children. This epidemic has made this country so tense that riots, protests, and movements are being created left and right to fight against this problem. Since the death of Trayvon Martin to the making of the movement #BlackLivesMatter, millions throughout our country have made a push for justice and to crush this problem right in its source of life.
